Certified Home Inspector

Home Inspection

A home is the biggest purchase most people will ever make, and a home inspection is always recommended before buying a home. At Madrona Building Solutions,  we provide home inspections utilizing the most advanced diagnostic tools and the highest technical standards. Immediately after the inspection, we provide our clients with a visually stunning, easy to understand report that goes over all of our findings and leaves you with a better understanding of the condition of the home so that you can make a well-informed decision.

A typical home inspection will take 2-4 hours to conduct, depending on the size and condition of the home, and how many questions our clients have (we love questions!). We encourage our clients to attend the home inspection. For first time home buyers, our home inspections provide an excellent education on home ownership and home maintenance.  For the more experienced buyer, we’ll focus more on significant issues, general building science, and resources to help make repairs.  If you buy the home, we are available to you for advice for as long as you own the home…a lifelong consultant at your fingertips.

Here are some of the home inspection services we offer:

  • Buyer’s Inspection – This is the most common type of home inspection where we help buyers make an informed decision about purchasing the home. We also provide post-closing inspections if you skipped an inspection during the sale.
  • Pre-listing Inspection – We help sellers find defects so that repairs can be made prior to the home going on the market and to avoid negotiating stumbling blocks later.
  • Ancillary Inspection Services: If you would like to take a deeper dive into the home of your dreams, you can add ancillary services to your inspection like inspecting an outbuilding, performing an air leakage test, or mold test.
